Laari in English
Welcome to Laari.info, a portal for knowledge, trainings and events for agriculture and rural economies! “Laari” is a Finnish word, which means a storage of agricultural products. Traditionally grain and vegetables were stored to Laari after harvesting. Enough products in Laari was a sign of security.
Laari.info was originally built for trainings and events calendar for the agricultural related organisations in North Savo region in Finland. It was created together with many organisations in the region. Laari.info served farmers and other people working in agricultural sector to find events and trainings from one place.

Continouos trainings
Continuous or non-stop training is training that you can attend flexibly, without being tied to a specific time or place. They include online lectures, reading material, calculation exercises or videos and exercises to test your learning. Find out more about our different types of training here!
During years the Laari.info web page activity quieted down. However, many actors missed the joint calendar and a platform for cooperation. Maatila 2030 (Farm 2030) project faced requests to update Laari.info. The project was funded by European Social Fund and implemented by Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Upper Savo Vocational College, Natural Resources Centre and Savo Vocational College. Together with other stakeholders we found a new goal for Laari.info: to bring knowledge, learning opportunities and events easily to farmers and other actors.
